Jailed gangster Mukhtar Ansari dies due to cardiac arrest
Mukhtar Ansari, a former gangster-turned-politician, passed away from cardiac arrest on Thursday. He was admitted to Banda Medical College after being found unconscious in his barrack earlier that day. Ansari had complained of abdominal pain and constipation on Tuesday morning and was discharged after 15 hours of treatment.

Court extends Arvind Kejriwal's ED custody till Monday
The local court extended the Enforcement Directorate's custody of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case until April 1, following a request for a seven-day extension by the agency. Kejriwal addressed the court, alleging that the ED's mission was to falsely implicate him and destroy the Aam Aadmi Party. He claimed that his arrest was part of a political conspiracy and accused the ED of running an extortion racket.

Jailed gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari died of cardiac arrest on Thursday.Ansari was admitted to Banda Medical College earlier today after he was found lying unconscious in his barrack. The jail officials immediately spotted him and took him to the district hospital, said a TOI report.

Kejriwal's arrest has put a question mark on the future of the Delhi government. He has not resigned as the chief minister and decided to run the government from custody, apparently hoping to be free soon and resume his duties.
