This is an additional plugin for ePSXe for Android. Install it if you want to be able to uncompress 7z/zip files from ePSXe gamelist. It does not support uncompress on-the-fly.

ePSXe 2.0.8+ is required.

This is a must have companion app for ePSXe because most of the games I’ve downloaded are 7zip folders and this plugin makes it so easy to let me play my games.

There is an issue for some games in bin/cue format – they run great if the files are stored on the “internal SD card” default storage but the game is unreadable if moved to external SD card. This plugin is able to extract zip files on external SD, save the extracted files on external SD, and playable on ePSXe, while many other unzip apps cannot. My biggest issue is there’s no telling where ePSXe is going to put the files. Please allow the user to determine where the extracted files are saved.

 

Kinda impractical… Ideally this should allow epsxe to read games straight from the zip without extracting, or it should extract to the same location the zip file is in + offer to delete the original zip. Just a few suggestions 😊
